Interns for a Children's Ministry
Irwinton UMC is in need of two people for Interns for their Children's Ministry. This ministry is already established, growing and for pre-teens and under. The interns would be responsible for facilitating the children's group, one evening a week, for about an hour and a half, from Dec. 2015 - May 2016 and one additional day every now and then for special programs or trips. The interns will work with our coordinating team to lead the ministry. Driving distance from Macon is approximately 30 miles. The church will pay each Intern a stipend of $50 a week to cover gas. Food is provided at each meeting for Interns and children. This Intern program will present an opportunity to gain experience and have fun working with children, developing curriculum, facilitating programs, earning a few bucks and adding something significantly beneficial to their resume. All applicants must be able to pass Safe Sanctuary standards. Applicants need to write a very brief (2 or 3 paragraphs) statement as to why they should be our interns. Staff Person Needed for Youth Ministry
Wesley United Methodist Church is looking for a part-time Youth Leader to minister to a group of teenagers and youth, grades 6-12. This person will be responsible for the faith development and spiritual growth of the youth group of a medium sized church. The position will require interaction with parents of youth, coordination and support of church wide events involving the youth, teaching Sunday School, and holding weekly meetings with youth for Bible Studies and Recreation. It will also require special events on a seasonal basis as youth are out of school on extended breaks. These special events include but are not limited to Winter Retreats, Summer Missions, fund raising events, and assisting with Vacation Bible School. Effective communication skills are necessary; interaction with other church staff members also a must. Weekly hours to average 6-8 hours, except for those weeks involving seasonal events. Salary and time off are negotiable.

Church Administrator - Forest Hills UMC
Forest Hills, a growing congregation in north Macon, is seeking a full-time Church Administrator. Responsibilities include:
1. Contribution posting, accounts payable, and financial reporting and reconcilement.
2. Supervision of office staff.
3. Administrative support for staff and church committees.
A bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or a related field is required. Knowledge of ACS is preferred. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Pay is commensurate with education and experience.

Director of Youth Ministries - Eastman UMC, Eastman, GA
1. Nurture and minister to the Youth of Eastman FUMC, leading by example, seeking to strengthen their
relationship with Christ and the Church.
a. Provide regular meetings and activities for youth grades 6-12.
b. Plan, promote and provide extraordinary activities that will support special times and needs.
c. Plan, promote and provide small groups in order to provide accountability and intimacy.
d. Spend time with youth one-on-one or as a group in settings outside the church (attending ball games,
concerts, dramatic performances, etc., and giving individual attention to members of the youth group as the
need may arise.
e. Attend worship services.
f. All events must comply with the Church Safe Sanctuary Policy.
2. Organize and effectively carry out youth outreach and service opportunities.
a. Lead youth in reaching out to other youth in the community.
b. Attend a variety of religious and secular youth functions held in our community.
c. Plan, promote and provide outreach opportunities.
d. Plan, promote and provide with opportunities to serve in local, national and/or international missions, in
cooperation with the church Mission/Evangelism Team.
e. Make and maintain positive relationships with leaders in the community (e.g. the school systems)
3. Manage the youth budget with fiscal responsibility.
a. Keep and maintain accurate, detailed expense records.
b. Turn expenses in monthly.
a. Weekly communication with Youth, Parents and Staff.
b. Attend Administrative Council meetings and make any necessary announcements, reports, etc.
c. Meet with Senior Pastor on a regular basis as determined by you and the pastor.
d. Publish a calendar outlining upcoming events.
e. Maintain the Youth Website.
5. Office Responsibilities
a. Work cooperatively with other staff members as directed by the Senior Pastor.
b. Your immediate supervisor is the Senior Pastor. You are accountable to the Senior Pastor and the Staff
Parish Relations Committee.
c. You are evaluated by the Senior Pastor and the Staff Parish Relations Committee.

7. Carry out other jobs or tasks that may be asked of you by the Senior Pastor or the Staff Parish Relations
