Mission Grants

Bishop David Graves often shares his purpose statement that drives his daily life: win people to Jesus; see the overlooked; transform lives; and change the world. When he talks about changing the world, he offers a challenge to us all: how can you change your corner of the world today and every day? 

This is the challenge the North Central District Mission Committee is issuing to the churches of the North Central District: how can you change your corner of the world?

The Mission Committee wants to support the work of the local churches in our district to reach beyond the walls of the church. To that end, the Mission Committee is offering grants to local churches within the district for new special projects designed to strengthen and empower outreach to the local community. 

We can’t wait to see the creativity of our local church! You might envision a hot cocoa and marshmallow party for your community. You might dream of a community service project where you want to give out t-shirts. Have you ever wanted to use a radio commercial to invite people to a revival? Maybe your vision is to have a dinner and dance night for seniors in your community. Maybe you want to adopt a senior center. Dream, and dream big! AND…you can partner with other churches: use our connection!
